Quench is a fictional water-tracking app concept designed to deliberately subvert the visual norms of hydration apps. Instead of relying on calming blues and aquatic motifs, the brand is built around fire imagery—using heat, intensity, and urgency as a behavioral prompt. I designed the logo to reflect this concept. The design process focused on creating an icon that could escalate visually alongside the app’s interface, simulating a growing fire as hydration levels drop. When the user drinks water, the act of “quenching” the flames restores the visuals to a calmer state, reinforcing the habit through strong visual feedback while giving the brand a distinctive, memorable identity within a crowded app market.
